Membership Application
PHABC now offers secure online payment options for memberships and membership renewals The Association offers a variety of opportunities for members and communities to promote or improve the public's health. The Association's resources - its members and reference material - can provide valuable assistance on issues such as:
- poverty and housing
- aboriginal health
- seniors well-being
- food security
- child and youth health
- equity and social justice
In addition, members receive a quarterly newsletter "The Public's Health" and can participate interactively on the web site. These resources provide an opportunity for networking, information sharing, feedback and collegiality. PHABC acts as a vehicle to deliver members' concerns and issues to governments and other organizations. Members can also benefit from participating not only on specific subcommittees of the Board, but also as representatives of PHABC on committees of other groups, CPHA and government. The Annual General Meeting, held the first week of November, provides an excellent opportunity to hear from well-known speakers in the public health field, and to network with others from around the province.
