"The following represents a list of current funding opportunities relevant to Farm to School Salad bar programs. They have been posted here for your information. Please note that by posting these opportunities, PHABC is in no way endorsing a particular organization".
"PHABC encourages schools and farms to adopt a policy around partnerships. The policy could be as simple as " We strive to establish partnerships that are congruent with the goal for the Farm to School Salad Bar program - working together to increase access to locally-grown, nutritious, safe, and cultural foods in BC schools". Take the time to peruse the sites of these funders to determine how these organizations are funded. Apply to those organizations that have a vision, goals, objectives, policies and practices that are a good fit with that of your program A policy around partnerships can be very helpful in your decision to apply for funding."
